PolaToons

PolaToons turns a photo into a 3D cartoon wrapped in a Polaroid frame. That is the whole pitch, and it is a narrow one.

The AI cartoon generator takes your picture and returns an anime or chibi style render in under 30 seconds, with a classic instant-photo border that gives the result a vintage look.

The free plan is small.

You get 2 images per month, each with a watermark, and commercial use is only allowed on paid plans.

Basic use does not require an account, and the site is built to work on mobile.

Downloads are high resolution, so prints are realistic if you want a physical copy.

PolaToons also says it does not store your images after processing, which matters if you are uploading photos of people.

Try it for a single portrait or a gift idea, but expect to pay if you plan to make more than a couple of images a month or sell the results.
