Nomi.ai

Nomi.ai is an AI companion app built around memory. It is a chatbot and virtual companion tool where you create a character for friendship, a romantic relationship, or mentorship, and it remembers what you tell it over time.

You set the personality and backstory yourself, then talk by text, voice, images or generated art.

The makers describe the conversations as unfiltered and uncensored, and say chats are anonymized for privacy.

Nomi.ai can work as a non-judgmental space for self-exploration, and the relationship with a companion can deepen as the memory builds.

The catches are worth taking seriously.

Leaning on an AI for emotional support does not suit everyone, it can set unrealistic expectations of relationships, and emotional dependency is a real concern.

Responses are generated, so they will sometimes miss the mark.
