myGPTReader

As an AI summarizer and chatbot, myGPTReader is unusual because it runs as a free, open-source Slack bot, so you need a Slack workspace to use it. myGPTReader reads webpages, documents and videos and posts a summary back in the channel.

YouTube summaries only work when the video has subtitles, which rules out some clips.

The bot also posts summaries of hot news and handles voice chat in several languages, which suits language practice or asking questions out loud.

Pricing is free, though some features may be limited in the free version.

Because the code is open, you can read how myGPTReader works, and a large, active community has formed around it.

If your team already talks in Slack, the reading and summarizing happen in the same place as the conversation, with no separate app to open.
