Journalizr

Typing out a journal entry feels like a chore, and a notes app rarely feels like a notebook. Journalizr is a digital journaling app that copies the feel of a physical journal and lets you record entries by voice, with transcription, as well as by writing, doodling or storing images.

That mix is the main appeal.

You can talk through a thought on the way home, sketch something on a page, or paste in a photo, and it all sits in one spot instead of being spread over a voice memo app, a notes app and a camera roll.

Journalizr also sorts into the AI note taker and AI transcriber groups because of the speech-to-text step, so spoken entries become searchable text you can read later.

The app is built around a spontaneous, creative style of journaling rather than structured productivity templates.

Usage is described as unlimited, which is a real plus for a daily habit, since you never have to ration entries.
