Inke

Inke costs nothing to start: the Free plan gives you unlimited local notes, 20 notes uploaded to the cloud, and 100 AI generations a day.

Inke is a markdown editor with built-in AI writing help, real-time collaboration and local storage, so it works as a note taker and text generator in a single place.

The limits sit mostly on the AI side.

Free generations top out at 300 characters each, and image uploads must stay under 1MB.

The Basic plan is also $0 and removes the cloud note cap, raises AI use to 300 times a day, and keeps the 300 character limit.

A Pro plan is marked as coming soon, with 1000 generations a day, up to 1000 characters per generation and images up to 10MB.

Inke also lists translation among its functions.

If you write in markdown and want short AI drafts rather than long ones, the limits are unlikely to get in your way.
