Humy.ai

Pricing is the first catch with Humy.ai, and some schools and individual teachers may find it a barrier.

What you get for it is an AI chatbot platform for history and social studies, where students talk with historical figures and work through interactive lessons.

Humy.ai is made for classrooms, so the same tool also covers the teacher's side: it can generate assignments and help with grading, which cuts down prep time.

The library spans a wide range of historical figures and topics, and the platform supports multiple languages.

Lessons can be personalized to the student, and teachers do not need tech skills to set things up.

The roleplay angle is the main draw.

Asking a character questions tends to hold attention better than reading a chapter, and that is how Humy.ai tries to raise engagement.

Treat the output with care, though.

AI-generated content can contain inaccuracies, so check facts before you hand them to students.

Leaning on the AI too much may also weaken critical thinking, so it works best as a supplement to teaching, not a replacement.
