Chatr AI

As AI companion apps go, Chatr AI leans toward fantasy and roleplay, and it puts building your own characters ahead of chatting with premade ones.

Chatr AI is an AI chatbot platform for immersive roleplay and custom character creation, covering anime characters, virtual companions and other AI personalities you can talk to.

You create your own automated characters and generate text, images and audio with them.

Finished characters can go into a community discovery gallery, where you can also browse what other users have made and start a conversation with their characters.

Chatr AI says users keep ownership of the characters and generations they create, which matters if you plan to build something you want to reuse.

The platform enforces strict community guidelines to keep the environment safe, so expect some rules around what you can share publicly.

Chatr AI suits people who want story-driven chats with characters they shaped themselves, and it is less suited to anyone who just wants a plain assistant for everyday questions.
