AICO

Paste a YouTube link, let the AI pick the strongest moments, and end up with a vertical short ready for TikTok or Reels.

That is the job AICO does, and the company says it takes about three clicks.

AICO is an AI video editor that turns long YouTube videos into short clips for people who want shorts without opening a timeline editor.

The AI recommends which segments are worth cutting, but you can also select specific sections of a video yourself if you disagree with its picks.

Subtitles and titles are generated automatically, and you can swap in your own background images behind the clip.

That last part matters for vertical formats, where the source footage often does not fill the frame.

Two caveats.

The AI will not always choose the segment you would have, so expect to check its suggestions before posting.

Full functionality may also sit behind a paid plan, so test a clip or two before you commit to AICO for a regular posting schedule.
