Writers-Copilot

Hovering over a suggested revision in Writers-Copilot shows you how the change will look before you accept it.

That preview is the most concrete feature of this free AI writing assistant, which gives targeted feedback on your text and helps with editing.

Writers-Copilot also supports threaded side conversations, so you can discuss one specific section of a draft without cluttering the rest of the document or losing your place.

The tool sits across several categories: AI proofreading, AI rewriting, and general AI writing assistance.

That makes it a fit when you want a second reader on a draft rather than a tool that writes the whole thing for you.

Feedback is geared toward particular passages, and the conversation stays attached to them.

Writers-Copilot is free to use, which lowers the cost of trying it on a real piece of writing.

If you edit often and like to see changes before committing to them, the hover preview is the reason to give it a go.
