Writefull

Paste in a draft, a paragraph or a single sentence from your paper, and Writefull gives back proofreading corrections, paraphrased wording and other language suggestions aimed at academic prose.

Writefull is an AI writing assistant and proofreading tool built for researchers and students, so its suggestions are tuned to scholarly writing rather than general business copy.

You can use Writefull inside Microsoft Word or Overleaf, which matters if your thesis or manuscript already lives in one of them.

It also offers a set of AI writing widgets for specific tasks, and the company says it keeps your data secure and private.

There is a free plan, but its features are limited.

One catch: Writefull X and Writefull Revise are not part of the Premium plan.

Group and Institution plans have no listed price, so you need to contact sales if a lab or university wants to buy for many people.
