Word Up

Switching between a chat window and the app where you are actually typing is a hassle, and Word Up removes it by living in your keyboard.

Word Up is an AI keyboard assistant that generates content, answers questions, translates text and cleans up writing inside any app you use.

Because it sits where you type, you can draft a message, check a fact or fix a sentence without copying anything elsewhere.

Translation covers more than 50 languages.

As a grammar checker, Word Up corrects spelling and grammar mistakes.

You can also change the tone of a piece of text so it reads as more professional, friendly or confident, which is handy for emails, work chats and replies on social media.

The category list also includes emoji generation, hashtags and summarizing, so it reaches into casual posting as well as office writing.

The main appeal is convenience: one keyboard handles writing help across your apps instead of a separate tool for each job.

Whether it beats a dedicated writing app depends on how much you type on your phone.
