TypeBoost

Freelancers, founders and other people who write all day in macOS apps are the ones TypeBoost is built for, especially if pasting text into a separate AI chat window has become a daily annoyance.

TypeBoost is a Mac AI writing assistant that runs inside any application, so you select text, press a keyboard shortcut and apply an AI action right where you are typing.

The core idea is custom prompt actions.

You save the prompts you use most, such as a rewrite in your own tone, a reply to an email or a translation, and rerun them on any selection.

TypeBoost lets you pick between AI models including GPT-4o, Anthropic and Google, so you are not tied to one provider.

Voice Mode turns spoken ideas into written text, which helps when you think faster than you type.

The aim is to keep your personal voice and style intact while you write faster.

Because it is macOS only, it will not help if you work on other platforms.
