Tern

Tern is free to use, and that includes the itineraries it generates. The AI trip planner asks for a destination, trip length and your preferences, then builds a personalized plan in seconds.

Results appear on a map, so you can see how days and stops fit together geographically instead of reading a flat list.

Tern also has a chat function for follow-up questions, which is handy when the first itinerary is close but not quite right.

You can invite friends to plan a trip together, and you can browse itineraries other travelers have built if you want a starting point rather than a blank page.

When the plan is settled, Tern lets you book flights, stays and experiences through integrated partnerships, so the whole trip can stay in a single place.

As an AI travel planner, Tern suits people who want a quick draft of a trip and room to adjust it.

Group trips are where the collaboration tools look most useful.
