Summify

Need the gist of a long YouTube video without sitting through it? Summify is an AI video summarizer that turns a video's transcript into a short summary, and you can steer it with your own prompts to pull out only the details you care about.

It also extracts timestamps, so you can jump to the part of a long video that matters.

You can ask questions about the transcript and get answers back, which is handy for lectures, interviews and long explainers.

Summify has a free version, though its functionality is limited, and a lifetime deal is available if you plan to use it often.

Summary quality depends on ChatGPT, and answers drawn from transcripts can be inaccurate, so check anything important against the video itself.
