Storio

Story outline generation is where Storio starts, and from there it moves into brainstorming and AI-assisted game creation.

Storio is a free AI story writing tool that works as a co-pilot for fiction writers, comic creators and anyone building interactive stories.

It was previously known as HeartByte, and the site still sits on the heartbyte.ai domain.

The game side is the more unusual part.

You can make interactive story games and visual novels without technical skills, so a writer with a plot in mind does not need to learn a game engine first.

The developers claim fiction and comics get written 10 times faster, which is a big promise you should test against your own workflow before relying on it.

Storio also gives fiction fans a place to spend time in fictional worlds, so it is not only for people who write.

Pricing is free, which makes it easy to try as an AI story generator alongside whatever drafting tools you already use.
