Soofy

Want to rehearse a debate in Spanish or write a short essay in French and get feedback? Soofy lets you do both.

Soofy is an AI language-learning app built around practice and real-life scenarios, so most of what you do is produce language rather than memorize lists.

You can write essays, describe images, hold debates and play out role-play situations with an AI partner.

Those exercises are geared toward three areas: pronunciation, writing and conversation.

The approach suits learners who already know some basics and want to put them to use.

Because the tasks resemble things you might actually need to do, such as talking through a scenario or explaining a picture, Soofy works more like a practice partner than a course.

It also overlaps with AI writing assistants, since the essay feature gives you a text generator to work with in your target language.
