Shape

Shape answers data questions straight from your database. It is an AI data analyst that connects to your data, runs ad-hoc queries and analyses the results, so people who do not write SQL can still get numbers when they need them.

Pricing comes in three plans.

Starter is $49 a month and includes

Team is $499 a month and includes

On both, extra users cost $24.95 a month each.

Enterprise is custom priced, has unlimited users, and adds a Microsoft Teams bot and white glove onboarding.

Shape works through a Slackbot on every plan, so questions get asked where your team already talks.

That is the main appeal: no new dashboard to learn.

Every plan also comes with dedicated Slack support and SOC 2 Type I, which matters if you are pointing an AI at a production database.

The jump from Starter to Team is steep, so check how many people will actually use Shape before choosing.
