Sentelo

Highlighted text on any website, in Google Docs, in Overleaf or inside a PDF can be summarized, paraphrased or explained without leaving the page.

That is the core of Sentelo, a Chrome extension and AI reading assistant made for students.

You select the passage, pick what you want done with it, and get a short answer back.

Sentelo says its answers are fact-checked and come with links to resources, which matters if you plan to cite or double-check what a summary tells you.

Paraphrasing is built in too, so the same extension covers rewording a dense paragraph and explaining a concept you did not follow.

For essay work, lab reports or LaTeX papers in Overleaf, staying in one tab is the main convenience.

Sentelo relies on Google and OpenAI's GPT models, so it inherits their limitations, and the quality of results depends on the text you feed it.

A personalized prompt repository is listed as coming soon, but it is not available yet, so do not count on it today.
