Salam Chat

Questions about Islam get answers with sources attached on Salam Chat, an AI chatbot for learning the religion.

Salam Chat is an AI assistant that answers questions about Islam and cites Quran and Hadith passages, so you can check each reply against the original text instead of taking the model's word for it.

That habit matters in a subject where wording and sourcing carry weight.

A halal filter keeps content safe, which suits families and classrooms.

The model was trained by Islamic scholars, and the project is open source and run by volunteers.

It does not currently generate revenue, so there is no commercial push behind it, though that also means it depends on contributors to keep moving.

Salam Chat is still under development, with more features on its roadmap.

Right now the way in is a waitlist for early adopters.

Expect an unfinished product rather than a polished one.

If you want an Islamic study aid that shows its references and you don't mind joining early, Salam Chat is a reasonable one to sign up for and watch.
