Rewind

If you forget where you read something, or what someone said in last week's call, Rewind is built for that moment.

Rewind is a macOS app and AI assistant that records your screen and audio, transcribes it, and lets you search everything you have seen, said, or heard.

The data is encrypted and processed locally, so only you can access it.

Beyond search, Rewind works as a personal AI assistant.

It can summarize meetings and draft emails, using what you have actually done on your computer as context.

That makes it a meeting assistant and an AI summarizer in one app, rather than separate tools you have to feed notes into.

The catch is the premise.

Rewind keeps a continuous record of your screen and sound, which some people will find uncomfortable.

The local encryption is the main reassurance.

It is also a Mac app, so it only suits macOS users.
