PovChat AI

You pick or build a character, write out who they are, then start typing. PovChat AI replies in that character's voice, and the same setup can be used to write an interactive story where your choices steer the plot.

PovChat AI is an AI chatbot platform for chatting with customized characters and writing interactive stories, and it is free to use.

The platform runs on custom AI models and keeps memories of earlier exchanges, so a conversation can pick up where it left off instead of resetting.

That matters most for long roleplay or a story you return to over several sessions.

Characters are not limited to one type: the platform covers companion-style chats, including AI girlfriend, AI boyfriend and anime girlfriend characters, as well as adventure and fiction.

Tags also point to avatar and image generation and to book and novel writing, so it reaches past plain chat.

If you want one place for character chat and story drafting, PovChat AI covers both.
