PortableDocs

Chatting with a PDF and pulling information out of it is the core of PortableDocs, an AI PDF tool that also summarizes documents.

You upload a file, ask questions in plain language, and get answers from GPT-4, which every plan uses.

As an AI chatbot for documents, PortableDocs suits research reading, long reports and any file you would rather query than scroll through.

There is a free plan, but it is small: one PDF in total, five questions a month, and files up to 25MB.

Basic costs $10 a month on annual billing or $15 monthly, and raises the limits to 100 PDFs and 1000 questions a month, still with a 25MB file cap.

Pro is $20 a month annually or $25 monthly.

It removes the caps on uploads and questions and allows files up to 50MB.

The model does not change between tiers, so you are paying for volume and file size, not better answers.

Try the free plan on a single document first to see if the answers hold up.
