Perplexity Comet

Summarizing a long article, pulling out the key points, and asking follow-up questions without leaving the page is the kind of job Perplexity Comet is built around.

Perplexity Comet is an AI browser from Perplexity that puts the company's answer engine inside the browsing window, so research and reading happen in the same place.

You can ask a question, get a quick answer, and keep going on the page you were already viewing.

Comet describes itself as a thought partner.

It helps you ask, understand and remember what you find, connect ideas across pages, and keep your digital life in order.

The selling point is less about a new way to type a search and more about changing how a browser behaves while you work.

If you already use Perplexity for search, this is the same assistant living where you read.

Because it is a browser, you are switching tools rather than adding another tab.
