Omniscience

Citations and literature reviews are handled automatically in Omniscience, which is the most concrete thing it does for researchers and authors.

Omniscience is an AI writing tool for book creation that takes you from research to a typeset book with cover designs.

It writes domain-specific content and draws on knowledge from documents you upload, so the output reflects your own sources rather than generic text.

That also means it needs your documents before it does anything useful.

You can connect Google Drive and Notion to pull material in, and teams can share a common pool of knowledge.

Because the tool works as an AI research tool and knowledge manager as well as a writing assistant, it suits long projects built on a lot of reference material, such as nonfiction books and academic-style writing.

If you start from a blank page with no source files, expect less from it.
