NotePerformer

Notation playback software is a small corner of music tech, and NotePerformer stands apart from most of it by selling a perpetual license instead of a subscription.

NotePerformer is an orchestral playback engine for Sibelius, Dorico and Finale that gives your notated scores realistic instrument sounds, so you hear something closer to a performance than a mechanical preview.

A single-user license costs $129, the same for students and professionals, and you can install it on as many of your own computers as you like.

If you would rather spread the cost, a rent-to-own plan runs $10.75 a month and becomes a perpetual license once you have paid $129.

You can opt out at any time.

Site licenses start at $200 for five seats and suit studios, businesses or classrooms, and Mac and PC stations can be mixed.

Prices include EU VAT, which is handy if you buy in Europe."}
