Newt

Write a story, read someone else's, or turn either into an audiobook: that is the job Newt does. Newt is an AI storytelling platform that combines a built-in editor, an integrated AI assistant for writing and reading, and audiobook generation from any story.

The editor takes plugins, so you can add tools to your own storytelling workflow.

Content is available offline, and the platform runs across multiple platforms, which suits people who read or draft in different places.

Newt also has community sharing and publishing features, so finished stories can go to other readers.

Expect the quality of user-generated work to vary, as with any open publishing space.

The AI assistant may also fall short on complex writing tasks, and leaning on it too much can get in the way of developing your own ideas.

Treat it as a helper, not a ghostwriter.
