n8n

Send a Slack alert whenever a form submission fails, or pass new support tickets through an AI model before they reach your team: that is the kind of job n8n handles. n8n is a workflow automation platform for technical teams, with AI agent and low-code features for building and running these flows.

The free Community Edition sits on GitHub and you host it yourself.

Paid plans are hosted by n8n.

Starter costs $20 a month billed annually and includes 2.5k workflow executions, 5 active workflows and unlimited users.

Pro costs $50 a month billed annually and raises that to 10k executions and 15 active workflows, adding admin roles, workflow history and execution search.

Enterprise adds SSO, Git version control and dedicated support with an SLA.

The caps on active workflows are tight at the lower tiers, so self-hosting suits heavier use.
