Msgmate

Inside the messaging apps you already use, Msgmate puts a configurable ChatGPT-style assistant that answers questions on request.

Msgmate is an AI chatbot and assistant tool that connects to existing messengers and runs on the OpenAI API, so quick answers are one message away.

You can customize the prompts and actions, which lets you shape how the assistant behaves instead of accepting a fixed personality.

Developers get API access to build their own integrations, and API calls are anonymized for privacy.

That makes Msgmate a reasonable fit if you want a chat assistant wired into your own workflow rather than a separate website.

Msgmate is still in alpha, so expect bugs and some instability.

WhatsApp support is limited because of policy restrictions on that platform.

API tokens also have to be paid for, which covers server costs and the underlying OpenAI usage.

Think of it as an early project to experiment with, not a finished service you can rely on for critical work.
