Mimicit is an image-to-prompt and text-to-image tool built in two parts.

A Chrome extension turns images on websites into text descriptions, which are the prompts.

A separate AI art platform then lets you use those prompts to generate new images, and you can also browse artwork other people have made there.

The workflow is simple: spot an image while browsing, pull out its prompt, and feed it into the generator to get your own version.

That makes Mimicit most useful if you learn by example and would rather start from a visual reference than a blank text box.

Because the extension lives in Chrome, it only helps while you are browsing in that browser.
