Loreweaver

Running a text-based RPG usually needs a game master who has time to prepare worlds, plots and characters.

Loreweaver removes that job by handing it to an AI.

Loreweaver is a Discord bot that generates text-based RPG adventures, so you can start a story inside a server you already use.

You sign in with your Discord account, and there is no separate app to install.

What you play is up to you.

Go on a quest, explore a world the AI builds as you move through it, or run any kind of RPG you can describe.

You can also play with friends, which makes it a fit for a group that wants a shared story in one channel instead of a scheduled tabletop night.

Loreweaver is listed as free, and you get

10 free messages to try it.

That is a small allowance, so expect to find out quickly whether the style suits you.

As an AI roleplay and story generator, it is best seen as a casual way to get a narrated adventure going, not a full game system with rules and character sheets.
