LivePortrait

Free animation is the main draw here. LivePortrait is an AI portrait animation tool that turns a still photo into a short animated video of a face.

Its categories also cover photo restoration, colorizing, and cartoon or pixel art styles, so LivePortrait sits somewhere between an image to video generator and a general photo editor.

The Free Plan costs $0 and includes unlimited animation, though the site labels that animation unstable, so expect uneven results.

Paid plans are billed annually and all add fast generation and access to every tool.

Basic is $7.90 a month for 100 credits with 30 days of history.

Plus is $15.90 for 300 credits with 90-day history.

Pro is $23.90 for 600 credits, and Max is $34.90 for 1500 credits, both with unlimited history.

Credits reset each month.

Unlimited animation stays marked unstable on every tier, so paying mostly buys speed and credits.

If you only animate a photo now and then, start on the free plan.
