Latercut

Latercut helps you make short videos faster. It is an AI short video generator for social media, built around TikTok and Instagram style clips, and the main promise is turning out short-form content about ten times quicker than editing by hand.

Its categories also cover voice over and converting long videos into short ones, so one source video can become several clips.

Latercut offers templates for different content types, which gives you a starting point instead of a blank timeline.

That is also the catch.

If you lean on templates, your videos may start to look alike, and people who want tight control over every frame could find the room for creative choices small.

The AI features may also take some time to learn before you get full value from them.

Latercut integrates with popular social media platforms, so publishing sits close to creation.

Its pricing model is listed as free.

If you post short clips often and care more about volume and speed than custom polish, Latercut is a reasonable tool to test on a few videos before changing your workflow.
