Kumoo

As background removers go, Kumoo puts its effort into edges. The AI background remover and photo editor cuts out hair-level detail, including loose strands, which is the part that usually gives cutout tools trouble.

Kumoo detects the background automatically and removes it, then lets you swap in a new one.

It is geared toward professional photography, commercial portraits and high-end product photos.

Product retouching, model cutouts and creative composites are the jobs it handles best.

Exports come out in HD, and batch processing means a full shoot does not have to be done one frame at a time.

RAW files can be imported, so quality is not lost before editing starts.

Kumoo runs on image processing algorithms from Meitu.

The interface is meant to be approachable for beginners as well as working professionals, though the feature set clearly targets people who deliver client images.
