Kindroid

You describe a character, pick how they look and sound, and Kindroid gives you an AI companion you can talk to by text or voice.

Kindroid is a chatbot and virtual companion app built around memory, so the character you set up is meant to stay consistent across conversations instead of starting fresh each time.

You choose the appearance, voice and personality yourself.

People use Kindroid for several different things: roleplay, practicing a new language, mentorship and coaching, plain companionship, and even preserving the personality of someone for later.

The categories also point to selfie generation and voice features, so your character can have a face and a speaking voice.

How well any of that suits you depends on how much you want to tinker with the setup.
