Drop a pile of screenshots, PDFs or videos onto Keep It Shot and it gives each file a descriptive name based on what is actually in it, so "Screenshot 2024-05-01 at 10.32.11" becomes something you can recognise at a glance.

Keep It Shot is a Mac app that renames media files with AI and lets you search them offline.

Batch renaming handles whole folders at once, and you can revert any file to its original name if the result misses.

Search runs privately on your machine across the files you have indexed, which suits people who would rather not send screenshots anywhere to find them later.

Renaming uses credits, depending on the plan.

A Q&A feature for asking questions about indexed files is still in development.

The app works only on macOS, so Windows and Linux users are out of luck.
