Ello

Getting a young child to practice reading out loud usually needs a patient adult sitting beside them.

Ello is an AI reading coach and read-along app that listens to a child read and helps them learn to read, with the AI taking the coach's role.

Its Adaptive Learn technology personalizes the experience, and a reward system keeps kids motivated while they build fluency and confidence.

The listing material says experts recommend it and parents like it.

Some users report that the app does not always hear words accurately or correct them properly.

It currently covers reading levels from Kindergarten to 3rd grade only, and it does not work on Android, Samsung tablets, Kindle tablets, laptops or desktop computers, so check your device first.
