GenExpert

The standard ChatGPT window gives you one box and few ways to shape how the model behaves. GenExpert is an AI chatbot and productivity tool that sits on top of OpenAI's chat models and gives you a simplified interface, customizable models and AI auto-completion for documents.

The idea is to spend less time wrestling with the chat screen and more time on the work itself.

Prompts and system prompts are central to how GenExpert works.

You can set the system prompt yourself, which controls how the model responds, then write your own prompts on top of that.

That makes sense for writing and drafting jobs where you want the same tone or role every time.

The auto-completion feature applies to documents, so GenExpert can continue text as you write.

GenExpert also describes privacy and security as part of the pitch, though you should check its site for the specifics.

It belongs in the office and productivity category, aimed at people who already use ChatGPT-style models daily and want more control over them.
