fwd2cal

Inside your email and Google Calendar, fwd2cal handles one small chore: you forward a message, and an event shows up on your calendar. fwd2cal is an AI calendar assistant that reads the forwarded email, pulls out the event details, and creates the entry for you, so you skip the copy and paste of dates, times and locations.

It works with multiple email addresses, which helps if you split life across a work and a personal inbox.

Privacy is a selling point here: the service does not store your emails, and the source code is open, so you can check how it behaves instead of taking its word for it.

The AI extracts event details, and that extraction will not always be right, so glance at new entries before you rely on them.

Google Calendar is the only calendar supported for now.

The pricing model going forward is also uncertain, which matters if you plan to build a routine around it.

For a narrow job like this, though, the focus is a plus.
