Flipped.Chat

You pick an AI character, or build your own, and then just talk to it. Chat is an AI companion chatbot that gives you a virtual girlfriend or boyfriend to chat with, with roleplay and story-style conversations built around the character you choose.

If the ready-made characters do not appeal, you can create one yourself by setting a personality, an intro message and a voice.

That gives you control over how the conversation starts and how the character sounds, which matters more here than in a generic chatbot.

Chat is free to use and the platform says it runs without ads.

The focus is on lifelike, ongoing conversation and a sense of connection rather than answering questions or finishing tasks.

It also suits people who want to write fiction through dialogue, since the roleplay and character tools double as an AI story generator of sorts.
