Emochi

Emochi lets you chat with AI characters for free. The platform is an AI roleplay and chatbot service built around a large library of characters made by its community, with the short pitch citing more than 1 million characters and bots.

Core chat features cost nothing, so you can start talking without a subscription.

Genres run wide, from mainstream romance and adventure to niche interests like BL and Dark Fantasy.

Emochi also has interactive video story elements, which push it a little beyond plain text conversation.

If you want a virtual companion or a story partner, that range is the main draw.

Advanced features sit behind a paid EMOCHI+ subscription.

Because nearly everything is community-made, character quality varies a lot, and you will probably sift through some weak ones before finding a good one.

The interface can also feel cluttered when it fills the screen with character cards.

Emochi suits people who like browsing and trying many characters more than those who want a tightly curated selection.
