editGPT

Students polishing an academic paper or a job application are the people editGPT is built around. editGPT is an AI proofreading and editing tool that uses ChatGPT to correct your writing and shows every change it makes, so you can see what was altered instead of getting a clean block of text back with no explanation.

That tracked-changes view is the main reason to pick it over pasting text into a chat window yourself.

The tool covers grammar correction, clarity improvements and tone adjustments, and it supports custom prompts when you want the edit to follow your own instructions.

Multi-language support is included.

The stated goal is to bring writing up to a native English level, which fits non-native speakers preparing formal documents such as academic papers and application materials.

As an AI grammar checker and rewriter, editGPT depends on ChatGPT for the actual edits, so you should still read each suggested change before accepting it.

Reviewing tracked changes makes that check quicker, and it keeps your own voice in the final draft.
