DreamTavern

A safe mode sits among the settings on DreamTavern, an AI character chat platform where you talk to ready-made characters or build your own.

The catalog is wide, and the uses run from entertainment and roleplay to learning, so the same account can serve a casual chat one day and a practice conversation the next.

Custom characters are the main draw if you want control over who you are talking to.

Browsing is the other half: you pick from characters other people have made.

That is also where the catch is.

Character quality varies, some characters have thin descriptions, and there is little information about who made them, so expect to try a few before you find one that holds up.

DreamTavern works as an AI chatbot and roleplay tool more than a classic office assistant, despite its productivity category.

Safe mode is useful if you want a more controlled experience.
