Dictanote

Dictanote has a free tier that covers a notes app and basic voice typing, with Pro starting at $8 a month or $5 a month billed yearly at $60.

The free plan includes dictation in 50+ languages, unlimited notes, basic voice commands and what the plan describes as 100% data security and privacy.

Dictanote is a note-taking app with speech-to-text that turns what you say into written notes and can summarize them with AI.

For anyone who would rather talk than type, the free plan is enough to judge whether dictation suits how you work.

Pro adds the features that matter for heavier use.

AudioScribe is an AI writing assistant.

You also get unlimited notebooks, dictation in the background, custom voice commands, voice-based editing, images in notes and support with a one-day response.

Custom commands and voice editing are the main reasons to pay, since they let you fix and format text without going back to the keyboard.

Yearly billing cuts the monthly cost by more than a third, which makes it the better deal if you keep using the app.
