Craion AI

Craion AI is free to use, with a monthly allowance of images and ads shown on the free tier. It is an AI image generator that turns text prompts into artwork, so you type what you want to see and get a picture back.

Generation is fast, and the interface is simple enough that you can start without learning much first.

Two controls help you steer results.

You can add negative words to tell the model what to leave out, and you can upscale an image once you have one you like.

The underlying model is updated regularly.

The free tier has real catches.

Images made on it may be shared and appear anonymously in Craion AI Search, so avoid prompts you want kept private.

Image quality on the free tier may also be lower than on paid plans.

As with any AI art generator, the output can reflect biases in the training data.

For casual experiments and quick concept art, Craion AI costs nothing to try, but read the sharing terms first.
