Want a daily briefing waiting in your Discord or DingTalk chat without sending your data to a hosted service? CoPaw can be set up to do that.

CoPaw, short for Co Personal Agent Workstation, is an open-source personal AI assistant built on the AgentScope framework.

You deploy a modular agent either on your own machine or in the cloud, then connect it to messaging platforms including DingTalk, Feishu, QQ, Discord and iMessage.

Privacy is the main draw.

CoPaw can run local language models through llama.cpp and MLX, so your conversations stay under your control.

A 'heartbeat' mechanism lets the agent start autonomous tasks on its own instead of waiting for a prompt, and a long-term memory system learns your preferences over time.

Expect to do some setup yourself, since this is a workstation you run, not a hosted chatbot.
