Connected Papers

Type in a paper and Connected Papers gives you back a visual graph of related academic work, so you can see how a field clusters instead of scrolling through a flat list of search results.

Connected Papers is a visual research tool for finding and exploring relevant academic papers, and it sits somewhere between a search engine and a knowledge graph.

Each graph is a map of papers around your starting point, which makes it useful when you are entering an unfamiliar area and need to find the key works quickly.

The free plan gives you 5 graphs per month with all features included.

Paid plans remove the cap on graphs.

Academic costs 3 USD per month, billed at 36 USD a year, and covers academics, non-profits and personal use.

Business is 10 USD per month, billed at 120 USD a year.

Group plans charge per seat on a single invoice, and a library plan for universities is available by quote, with email, IP and SSO access options.

Every tier has the same features, so you only pay for volume.
