codex pet

Pricing is not something the studio spells out, but the main output is clear: custom animated pets you download and use with the OpenAI Codex desktop companion.

Codex Pet Studio, the tool behind codexpet.xyz, is an independent, browser-based studio for creating, remixing, and downloading those pets.

Nothing to install, since the whole workflow runs in a browser tab.

The editor works frame by frame, with live previews and visual quality checks so you can catch problems before exporting.

You can build a pet pack from scratch, start from a template, or remix a creation someone else in the community has already made.

Animations such as idling, running, jumping, and waving can each be set up individually.

The interesting choice is that Codex Pet Studio leans on manual creativity rather than AI generation.

That gives you precise control over every motion, though it also means you do the drawing and timing yourself.

As an animated pet maker for Codex users, it suits people who want a companion that looks the way they planned, not whatever a model produces.
