Clipdrop

Clipdrop runs in the browser and also offers an API for developers who want its image tools inside their own product.

Clipdrop is an AI image editing and generation platform that covers text to image, background removal, upscaling, object cleanup, text removal, relighting, generative fill, uncrop and reimagining an existing picture.

The free plan is usable but capped: tools such as Generative fill, Background Removal, Image Upscaler x2, Cleanup, Relight and Reimagine allow 20 uses per 24 hours, and Text Remover allows 50.

Some tools, including text to image, uncrop and replace background, are locked on the free plan.

The Pro plan costs 22 SGD a month.

It raises most daily limits to 1000, skips the queue, and adds high resolution output.

The upscaler goes up to x16, with smooth mode at 1000 per day and detailed mode at 10.

The API is billed by usage.

If you only need an occasional cutout or cleanup, the free tier should do.

Heavier work will push you to Pro.
