About This Tool
Overview
This browser extension automatically removes candidate profile images from LinkedIn and XING, shifting recruiter focus toward skills and experience instead of appearance.
The tool aims to reduce unconscious bias in hiring decisions by removing visual cues that can influence judgment.
It's straightforward to install and use, requiring no complex setup.
However, it works only on these two platforms and depends on recruiters actively installing and using the extension.
While it helps address appearance-based bias, it's not a complete solution to all forms of bias in recruiting.
