BeFreed

Long books, talks and research papers pile up faster than most people can get through them.

BeFreed is an AI learning tool that turns that material into personalized podcasts and flashcards, so you can take in the main ideas while commuting, walking or killing time you would otherwise spend scrolling.

It works as an AI book summarizer and podcast generator, and it also covers flashcards, text-to-speech listening and coaching-style learning.

The pitch is depth without the hours.

BeFreed adapts what it produces to your time, interests and goals, which suits students preparing for exams, professionals upskilling between meetings and people who simply like learning new things.

Its focus on turning short gaps in the day into study time is the main reason to try it.

Expect condensed versions of sources, not the full originals, so use it as a way in rather than a replacement for reading everything.
